Trips
During your time at University studying geology or geophysics, you will undoubtedly spend many days in the field. So why would you want to do more field trips? We believe that by offering extra field trips we create the opportunity for you to brush up on your skills, meet new people and get to know your colleagues better. You might even learn a thing or two! We try to organise field trips that are sociable, interesting and above all FUN! Staff, Postgrads and undergrads are all welcome. All we ask is for a small contribution to be made towards the cost of each trip.
Socials
We aim to have a social every 2 - 3 weeks. The socials are a good chance to get to know fellow geologists and geophysicists and just have a great night out.
